Why Amazon India Ships Wrong orders ?

Hello, I have ordered one “Puma Men’s Drifter Road III Black Flip Flops Thong Sandals – 10 UK” black and Blue aster colour from Amazon India on 18th of Jan. They accepted the order and had send me an Adidas flip-flops which was cheaper and and was not the requested type. They didn’t show the courtesy to call me and tell me that the stock wasn’t available or at-least the reason for the same. I tried to contact the CC executives for past 2 weeks, and I get disappointing replies saying that you can cancel the order and re-order a new one where in I have to pay from pocket as of now. Once the first order is send back, they will credit back the money. This is totally not acceptable, considering the mistake is from their part. They are cheating consumers by doing this in the past too. I have the chat transcripts of all the conversations with them. I have seen that flip-flops in the nearby retail outlet of Puma with the same discount after placing the order in Amazon. Now, the stock is depleted there, and I cant get what I wanted now. I want to get proper compensation from them for my loss of time, money and energy and the product. I also want then to send me the product with the same amount I have paid, as soon as possible.
