I have been using the mobile number 9985119xxx since 2006. My number is very fancy and easy to remember for all my relatives and friends. Because of only this reason I have been maintaining this number, even though I have been observing very poor response from Vodafone. during 2009-10 none of the store in Hyderabad/Nellore properly responded to my request to transfer the ownership from my father to me. at last somehow it happened after visiting the stores on regular basis. I placed my mobile number in safe custody( a feature provided by Vodafone to secure your postpaid number when not in use) as I was travelling to USA on deputation. I paid the required amounts and placed the number in safe custody. I have been regularly communicating with customer care and nodal officer to continue the safe custody feature and also maintaining the proper account balance through online account. All of sudden Vodafone has deactivated my mobile number without communicating to me. I ha already over paid and my account was around (-)600Rs. means 600 Rs I already over paid so that to extend the safe custody they can deduct the amount from my account it self. Around 8 Years of my efforts to have this number, is gone now. I spent lot of money on it. At times, I paid the bills even though I was not using the number for few months. paid thousands to have safe custody feature. When I was not able to login to online account, I dropped an email to nodal officer. then they are responding that my number got deactivated and they regret to the inconvenience caused. asking me to visit a store to resolve the issue. As I am in USA I cant visit a store, please help me to get my number back. Attached is the mail communication.

Need my number back. and also Vodafone should make sure as long as I am paying the required money they should not deactivate the account. they also should pay the fine for harassing and torturing me with improper/neglect/irresponsible behavior.
