Why You Must Not Deposit for Reliance Broadband Before Connection ?

I had applied for a Reliance broadband connection, the Reliance agent took Rs 1500 cash from me on November 24, 2014 for the connection and gave me a receipt for the same (Copy of receipt attached. After a week of taking money, he kept on telling us 1 week more each time. After getting frustrated we asked for the refund, it has been 3 months now and I have not received the refund. I have been following up with reliance customer care through email and also with their appellate but there has been no positive response and resolution.

I have spent over Rs 1500 on telephone calls to reliance and emailing Reliance from cybercafés. This also includes multiple hours wasted in writing to them and calling them. It has been a serious mental harassment as there has been no resolution from Reliance also the person who took money from us was very rude and the call center doesnot help at all. I have given both customer care and appellate a weeks notice before filling this complaint and still there has been no response

I expect a monetary compensation of at least Rs 25,000. It has been a mental agony along with loss of money due to Reliance non action on this issue. I have tried everything for resolution including talking to customer care, emailing customer care, writing to appellate and also filling up a form and sending to reliance appellate as advised by national consumer helpline. I think the amount of compensation will be just about adequate for the mental harassment and monetary loss I have suffered.
