I am Monish Shah residing in Mumbai since past 28 years. I want to file a case against agency called Y-Axis. I had approached y-axis in January 2013, and enrolled in their scheme where they would help me relocate to Canada. I have paid 40000 INR for their service. As per the agreement the company would market my CV/Resume in Canada for 3 months and they would help the employers contact me for interview and no job guarantee was given. In the middle of Feb 2013 they received a positive response from one of the employers in Canada which they failed to respond (As a part of their service they are supposed to intimate me as soon as they get any response). I came to know about this when the email ids were handed back to me after the 3 months of marketing was done (April 2013). I was in touch with the consultant on a daily basis but she failed to mention this even once. When I contacted and asked them why they didn’t respond to the mail they said “they forgot”. I have the conversation on email as a proof where they have apologized for their error and have out rightly refused to compensate. I would like to know if we can build a case against them and sue them? If yes then how can we claim back? Kindly let me know as I am keen on suing them.
