I was user of Airtel Braodband for more than a year. I was a regular customer with good track record. I moved out of my place so I requested them to disconnect my services and send the final bill. As requested, service was stopped and final bill was sent. Which said, last day to pay is 31st Oct. When I tried to pay the bill online on 29th of Oct, I could not pay it. So I tried calling their customer care. They could not understand the issue, they said that I can pay it online. Then after a week got a call that my final bill is pending. I explained him the situation and asked him for an alternative channel to pay the bill. He told that he can send a guy to collect the final amount. Also I asked him for my deposit which was with Airtel (rupees 500, my final bill was 1752, plus they added penalty 100) So the guy reduced the amount by 500 and told me to pay 1300. I agreed and gave address for cash collection. No one turned up. 2 days later, one more call, I had to explain the situation again, again he promised me to send a guy to collect cash. Again no one came. This was repeated at least 5-6 time. So I went to Airtel India’s official facebook page to tell them that they should just collect the cash and stop harassing me. After that I got 3-4 calls and then on Friday 21st Nov, 2014 they sent a guy to whom I gave 1300 as payment and hoped that this is the end of entire drama. Now today, 25th Nov, 2014 I got a call again that I need to pay 600+ as there was no deposit in my account. And I was furious, that how can they do this?? If there was no deposit, they should have told me before and I would have even agreed to pay (whereas I know they have my 500 as deposit, but just to finish the drama I would have paid extra).

I just want them to finish this drama. And protection in case they file a case for 600+ rupees which, as per me, is already with them by way of deposit. I wan you to penalize them for harassing customers.
