Dear Nodal Officer, My number: 9004272xxx name- Ameya Vijay Karambe We received a call from your promotions team about a month or two ago saying that there is an offer for 3G @ 250 INR per month where we can use 2GB data. We happily activated this scheme by giving a confirmation to your executives. (Your promotion executive called us- They said whatever I used I shall be billed for that, They said if I use 1 gb my rent shall be 125 INR, for 2GB 250 INR and anything used above 2 GB will be 3 paisa p/kbps. We use a google nexus 4 and it tracks what we have used- last month usage is 1 GB 230 mb. Your system has charged me 250 INR for 1 GB. It seems you have charged me 700 INR extra for 280 mb.) They activated a 1GB plan and told us that we have 2GB activated. I called your complaint only number and they don’t know what plan is activated and when asked for service request number they are unaware of it. These guys hardly understand customer queries so I thought of asking for the Mumbai- Nodal officers number- they kept me on hold for exact 7 minutes and the call was dropped. We are aware that the support team of airtel lack professionalism and there have been many instances where the executives calling for promotions and activate something else and to my anticipation they did the same thing. You can check your records we called back 121 and verified if the scheme is valid and activated- they said Yes. On which we happily used the internet. I was so disheartened seeing the bill. My bill for last month has been 1240.74/- I deny these charges of 1240.74/- INR. With heavy heart I must say your support is making me search for new options in mobile n/w service provider. We want to only pay what we should pay. Excess charges are not acceptable. Also someone from airtel must listen to us. We called up the 198 complaint number yesterday- we spoke to an arrogant guy named prashant instead of listening to us he constantly said only one thing- we cant help. If they can help then who can ?
