Airtel pre-Paid to Post-Paid Conversion

I got a call from one of your dealers, her name was Rekha and her number is +91845909866. She convinced me to get my number converted from prepaid to postpaid. They sent their representative and I gave all the required documents along with the required fee (Rs 300). After 10 days I got a message that my phone will be converted from prepaid to postpaid and services will start in 2 hours, please use the new SIM. After that my phone signals were completely gone and my prepaid cell stopped working as well. I never got the new SIM. I called them to check if there is any confusion and they completely refused to listen to me and told me to buy a new number since there is nothing they can do. I asked them to give me their office address and they refused that as well. They even said that they don’t understand English or Hindi which they used to understand very well when were selling the plan. As a customer, Airtel is a big name for us but even then I do not have very high hopes that anything will be done regarding this but anyways I am submitting this complaint in the hope that this might change my previous perception.
