Aquaguard – Frequent failure water purifier non-availability expertise

I had purchased Aquaguard Pride Storage water purifier of Eureka Forbes around 13 May 2013. Since then I have been facing problems with the unit as well as service. One year free service was promised after purchase. However none of the service technicians is aware of servicing of this unit. They never recommended about replacement of the filter candle even after frequent failure of the unit. Even on me asking for the replacement of the candle, they did not provide the candle. After about 7 to 8 months of purchase the unit stopped working and the resolution of the complaint took almost a month by the service center (Complaint ref no.74803824) even after repeated followup with seniors and mails to the escalation email id. There was no reply to any of the mails (pdf of mails attached). Recently the unit stopped working twice in last one month and was down for almost 8 to 10 days (complaint ref no.76268554). The unit was down for almost one & half month since purchase in last one year due to frequent failures (around 5 to 6 times), each complaint taking 8 to 10 days on average with one complaint taking around month and lack of servicing knowhow / non-availability of spares even after one year of introduction of this model.

As on today also there is no know-how available with the service center for servicing of the Model – Aquaguard Pride. Looking at the frequent failures (almost once a month) despite of the regular cleaning of the filter by us, there is large inconvenience in store for us in future even if we go for AMC, looking at the level of the know-how, average response time of around 8 to 10 days. Hence I want the unit to be taken back by Eureka Forbes immediately and provide with another established model which can be serviced. I am ready to pay the difference in cost of the different model. Secondly Eureka Forbes must provide compensation for the bottled water / cost of LPG (for boiling water) for at least one & half month for 4 persons.
