BlueStar Packers & Movers – Non-payment of Damages claim

I had availed the services of Blue Star Packers & Movers to shift my household goods from Bangalore to Pune (Consignment no. 1145) and had got the same delivered on 15th Feb. 2014. On checking the goods it was found that there were damages which costed Rs. 3980 for repairs and the same were written (with item details) on the delivery note and submitted back to their delivery supervisor after unloading. Their local agent (Sanjit Singh) confirmed that the delivery note with the claim has been couriered to their Bangalore office from where the consignment was booked. All the goods were duly insured and they have charged me a premium of 3% at the time of booking. After 5 months of continuous follow-up with Vijay singh, their Manager at Bangalore, he said that a claim amount of Rs. 2800 has been sanctioned and a cheque for the same will be sent to me. After that, he was replaced my Mukesh who took my bank account details for crediting the amount in August, but so far they have not made any payment.

The claim of Rs. 3980 be paid in full or at least the sanctioned amount which they have already received from the insurance company and not yet paid to me (Rs. 2800) must be paid without any further delay.
