I purchased this BSNL connection on 4th September 2015. Recharged with plan voucher 199 valid till 2nd March 199. I am in financial trouble. Not working any where. Fortunately I had money and recharged my mobile number for full Talk Time for 550 on 26th January. Already had a balance of Rs.138. New balance was Rs.688.4838. I sent an SMS for plan continuation to 53733 in the format “PLAN CONTINUE” as I do not know how much money will I have at that time. The plan should have been extended till 30th Aug 2015 for another 180 days. New validity should have been 30th Aug 2015 but New validity is 25th July 2015. The customer care guy informed me that the SMS should have been rejected if I have balance validity of more than 3 or 4 days. But the transaction was a success and money was debited from my balance but it was like I am recharging afresh and validity was counted from 26th January 2015 for 180 days expiring on 25th July 2015. There should have been a prompt at least that your validity is already there till 2nd March and you will loose your current validity or else the plan continuation SMS should have been rejected. But it was not so. This is one of the many ways BSNL is showing its high handedness and cheating customers. Kindly look in to the matter at the earliest and treat it as urgent and I will try to prevent outgoing from this number so that the matter is resolved amicably. No where it was mentioned that if plan is continued then it will be treated as fresh recharge voiding the previous plan.

Want validity extended till 30th Aug 2015 or amount refunded and old validity of RTPFR-199 reinstated till 2nd March 2015.
