I am shortlisted for the MANF scholarship 2013-14 with ref no MANF-2013-14-MUS-UTT-21793. I, got the fellowship on 23rd Dec 2014 of one year duration after approaching OBO, but the bank did the mistake I am supposed to get the fellowship from the month of September’2013 but instead I got it from the month of April 2013 as the Canara Bank bank put the wrong date of my registration. After I approached the bank they deduct the scholarship by himself (i.e. from April 2013 to August,2013) and the contingency grant without asking and informing me, the money which is supposed to be adjusted. The problem has not been rectified and the bank simply deducts the money. Due to this reason I didnt get the scholarship after Sep,2014 because of the documents (continuation certificate etc) which is supposed to be considered from September’2013 they are considering it from April 2013. I already deposited all the documents which is required till March 2015. I approached the bank also, they said they will rectify this but its more than 6 months I didnt get anything. It’s a simple case of negligence and mental harassment by the bank authorities. Kindly take a look in to this sir, as I didnt want to be harassed for another year to rectify the mess created by the bank.
