Cleartrip.com – Erroneous Booking Refund my money

I had put up a claim for erroneous booking of my domestic flight due to which I had to incur additional costs on my trip.I sent this mail in May 2014. I have not yet received any reply on the issue from your end. I am resending my letter for your perusal. Kindly let me know of your decision at the earliest to proceed further. Thanks Priya Gupta I have just returned from a holiday to Malaysia (Ref booking Id no: ID : IN1403B6S123114. ). I would like to bring to your notice the following: Firstly let me begin by saying that the trip was well organized, the bookings and visa formalities were hassle free and we did not face any problem of any sort during travel or stay at Malaysia. The problem that I faced was only during the return travel from Malaysia. Our flight from Mumbai to Goa was booked erroneously by your agent on the 19th of May(Jet Lite S2-3953), early morning whereas we were returning from Malaysia on the same night. The ticket should have been booked for the 20th considering our ETA Mumbai and connecting flights to Goa. Further the domestic sector was booked on 29th March(MMT booking I d: NF2204031818603) and we received our flight details of the international flight only on the 14th of May, just 3 hrs prior departure from Goa, whereas your site assures delivery of all travel documents 3 days prior to departure.I can produce my sms, calls and emails to your agent from 6th of May asking for the vouchers and flight details but no response from them. Even if it had been delivered by 10th of May, the mistake had already been committed on the 29th of March 2014. The same agent who has briefed me about the trip and other details has done this booking showing total lack of coordination. The moment I realized this( we were already in Malaysia) I sent an urgent SMS to your agent asking to change my booking accordingly( I can produce the sms dated 15th May ) but again there was absolutely no response. I tried calling the local agent (Luxury Tours) to help me out but they referred the same to your office, they too replied that no one seems to be responding to their mail. The result of this has been that I had to purchase a local SIM card in Kuala lumpur , top up the card 4 times( 25 RM plus 40 RM topups) to continuously interact with your office, leave aside the anxiety we had to bear as obviously the flight would have a no-show on 19th and we would be stranded at an unearthly hour with kids in Mumbai airport with nowhere to go. I asked your agent to at least change the domestic booking to 20th, maybe with a little charge but as earlier until the evening of 18th of May there was no action taken. Finally I called the Jet airways office in Mumbai to cancel the flight myself and booked ourselves on an Air India flight through Cleartrip.com incurring a cost of 19,796 INR.( I will produce the e-ticket) I am claiming that the company refund me the amount of 21,300 INR( rupees twentyone thousand three hundred only) which is the cost of air

INR 21,300( Twenty one thousand three hundred)
