Daikin – misleading customers

Just wanted to bring to your notice my second bad experience with my second Daikin AC. I bought Daikin Inverter R-32 1.5 ton model in first week of September from Pankaj Electronics. At the time of purchase i was informed that this model does not require a stabilizer. To be on safer side, i checked this with the service engineer who came to my place for servicing my existing Daikin AC, who confirmed me that its mandatory to have a stablizer for all Daikin AC’s. This created a confusion in my mind and hence, i spoke to Mr. Bhaskar Pandey (North Service head) over phone, who confirmed that its mandatory. I again went back to the dealer (Pankaj Electronics) to check if he has mis-communicated me the facts. To my surprise, he showed me Daikin sales brochure which read that this model R-32 is stabilizer free. After all this, i wrote to mail to Bhaskar Pandey to get this doubly checked and also to check if the installation is done correctly (as i had issues with my last Daikin AC in installation which was wrongly done by your authorized dealer) The service engineer visited by place on 21 September, 2013 and confirmed installation is ‘ok’ and informed me that the Stabilizer is mandatory else it would impact the machine operations. I got surprised with this as it was in contradiction to the Daikin sales brochure. Also when i raised this concern with Mr. Bhaskar over phone, he used inappropriate language with me and disconnected my phone. *Now i have two concern, * *1) If a stabilizer is mandatory for all inverter ACs of Daikin, why Daikin is misleading customers ?* *2) I**s this the way you deal with your customers who raises genuine concerns (like Mr. Bhaskar did) ?* Please address the concern appropriately, as i am worried that ‘Daikin’ is following unethical businesss practice. The reason, i say this is because the engineer who visited me told me that such machines (Stabilizer free machines) does not work effectively in India.

Adequate compensation and a ban on wrong claims along with public apology and penalty.
