defective tyres

I am a Wing Commander serving the Indian Air Force and presently posted at Baroda at Gujarat. I had purchased a Chevrolet Optra car last year on 03 July 2009 with company fitted Goodyear tubeless tyres fitted on alloy wheels. The car has run approximately 8400 Kms as on date. But within one year of purchase, the pressure started gradually decreasing in two of the tyres. I reported it to M/S GopinathJi-the authorised dealer of Chevrolet at Baroda where a Rep of Goodyear co. examined the tyres on 05 May 2010. He declared one of them punctured and the other one as “driven on flat”. It may be noted that there was a slight hole on the side of one of the tyre which was not a puncture but from where the air was slowly leaking. The second tyre being tubeless never became totally flat or ran on flat. I am confident about it because I personally drive my vehicle. Your company Rep did not respond to the complaint positively lumping it on me as being due to customor’s fault. I thereafter showd these tyres to a few repairers also who are of the openion that its a manufacturing defect. I have kept one of the tyre which has a hole on side without any repairs with me and the same can be examined by your Rep again if required. The second one is being run with a tube in it as the vehicle can not run on three tyres.I am not convinced of the verdict of your company Rep and want the company to replace the tyres instead of lumping it on me. My contact numbers are 0265-2634928 Extn 207 (O) and 227 (Resd) and the cell no. is 09558329087. I request you to kindly respond and do the needful.Thanks.
