DTDC Courier – Non Delivery Due to Improper Service – Compensation Demand

o The Managing Director DTDC,Edappal, Dear Sir, SUB: NOTICE BEFORE FILING CONSUMER COMPLAINT (Consumer Protection Act of 1986) 1) I have booked one parcel from Trissur DTDC office for express delivery of an urgent parcel. Sales order No:R11061628. The promised delivery date was 25/07/2013 at Edappal. Edappal branch office not yet dispatched the parcel.Please note that my residence adress was proper, there were no doorlock ,location is just 300 m from town beside tar road. 2) I havent get the delivery of parcel till date. which in turn delayed my whole plan.I was forced to buy another drive to complete my job. 3) As the delivery of materials didn’t come in time, I have contacted the Managing director of DTDC Edappal on 26th july 2013 5.11 pm and 26th,and 2nd Aug 2013 4.30 Pm in 9995190075 . The call details of the second and third are recorded. I have been told that there are no field staff for delivery. Please note that my address is just 400 meters away from Edappal DTDC office. 4) As the delivery is delayed my work also is delayed which caused loss to my degnity and money. 5) Kindly settle my grievance within 15 days with the loss of money, loss of time, mental agony improper service and the interest(18%) else I will file a complaint with the Consumer Court as you are protected under the Consumer Protection Act of 1986. Following concerns to be settled. Initial amount to be refunded-1200 Rs Interest @ 18% as per rules. The compensation for the time delay-10000Rs The compensation for purchasing a new drive-1200Rs Compensation for the improper service-10000 Rs The labour paid to the labours -4200 Rs Compensation for the mental agony-100000 Rs Taxi charges and other expenses during the ordering of product-1200Rs. The expenses towards the case. The police case also will be filed before filing the consumer court complaint towards your organisation for cheating the customers by giving wrong advertisements. Copy of FIR will be send to the Cyber crime department for giving the misleading advertisements in internet that the supply to the door steps. This is to inform that the consumer complaint will be at your cost and expenses, and I will seek compensation for the mental agony caused due to his deficiency in services.
