I have a home loan in HDFC bank and i am paying my EMI at 10.5% of interest rate. Although bank is offering lower interest rate to the new customers that is 10.15%. I asked bank to slash down my interest rate but they offering lesser rate after paying some conversion charges. Initially when i took loan from HDFC bank, it was said like your my plan of interest rate is of variable type, it means whenever rate of interest increases my EMI increases and when it decreases, EMI also decreases. But from 1day they never slashes the rate of interest when it decreases but always keep increasing whenever rate of interest increases.

I want to avail the latest rate of interest(with lesser spread) i.e. 10.15% which is offering to new customers without any conversion fees. Also in future whenever rate of interest decreases, i don’t have to file complaint again for slashing rates.
