Sir It is to bring in your kind notice that my 5 years old daughter Ananya Bhandari seriously Burn & Injured with High-Tension Wires which is running parallel to the Residence. My daughter came into contact with live Hi-Tension wires when she was playing on the Roof & she unknowingly came into contact with High-Tension Wires running parallel to our neighbor’s roof top on 28th Feb, 2015. When we heard the voice of Blast I rushed at the roof top & have seen my daughter was electrocuted with High Tension Wires. We immediately rushed to the Hospital as my daughter sustained seriously Burn injuries both on her Arm’s & foot. We are Scared whether she would be able to use her limbs with full potential. Our daughter is still under shock.
This kind of High-Tension electric wires pose a threat to human lives. We could not immediate intimate to the Concerned Official of PSPCL as firstly we have to provide First Aid to our daughter as she was admitted in the Hospital & still her treatment is going on. In the meantime the matter was in the notice of our Relative Living in Jalandhar Mr Sanjay Sehgal, Advisor Member RTI & Grievances Cell, Punjab Pardesh Congress Committee (M-98760-96666) who already did online complaint to Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Punjab, Deputy Commissioner Amritsar & Senior Official of PSPCL, Amritsar Circle on Dated 15th March, 2015. In view of the above complaint we have received email reply from the office of Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Punjab that our complaint is forwarded to Deputy Commissioner, Amritsar, Revenue, Rehabilitation & Disaster Management on Dated 17th March 2015 for necessary action. Our neighbor’s had themselves got a plastic pipe to cover the naked High-Tension Electric Wires. The similar instance happen earlier also in different localities of the city. All High-Tension electric wires pose a threat to human lives. Moreover Residents have already demanded that all Hi-Tension Wires which is running parallel to the Homes must be replaced & removed immediately. The action should be initiated against officials who ignored such seriously complaints. We demand Compensation may be provided to our daughter till her complete medical treatment & recovery.
