Hitachi Split AC – Dealer Abnormal Delay in Shipping

Dear sir, I had purchased Hitachi Split Air Conditioners ACE Reidan (Hot & Cold) RAU518HTH from their online store Hitachi eshop (http://www.hitachi-hli.com/e-shop) with following order details: Product name: Hitachi Split Air Conditioners ACE Reidan (Hot & Cold) RAU518HTH Order ID: HHLI-13691 Order Date: 2014-07-13 Time: 09:49:25 Order Status: PAID Customer Name: Vikash Kumar Amount paid: 46,624/- using HDFC credit card no. 4617872001329365 I was informed initially that the product may be delivered in 15 days time from the date of booking and the product cab latest expected on 28/07/2014 at my billing address 1011, Akashdeep bldg., BARC colony, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai 400094. There was no mail regarding the status or apology from team Hitachi after 15 days were over. Even after sending the reminder, there was no response from Hitachi. When I sent the reminder again, then they promised it to be delivered by 4/8/2014. Again I did send two reminders on 4/8/2014 and 5/8/2014, but no mail from hitachi which I never expected from a big market player which does not have even a sense of responsibility and customer care. Then they replied stating a nonsense reason and promised with 100% conformity that it will be delivered in next 8 days that is by 13/8/2014. I again sent a reminder and finally on 17/08/2014 not getting any reply from Hitachi and unexpectedly long delay in delivary, I was bound to approach consumer control panel. I have made the full payment at the time of booking and so far close to 40 days are over and I have not received my AC. Hitachi must be penalized for this act of cheating innocent but aware customers.

Dear sir, I would request you to help me getting my Hitachi Split Air Conditioners ACE Reidan (Hot & Cold) RAU518HTH delivered as soon as possible. I also request for a compensation of Rs. 5 lakh for the time and efforts that have gone into this process, the kind of mental trauma and humiliation of my very close people I was suffering with, the kind of suffering my wife who if pregnant and guilt feeling of father not fulfilling the need of a kid and the value for family sacrifices without any outcome and the kind of mental stress I suffered loosing my peace of mind and also for the false business ethics of cheating customers.
