I had applied for admission to Executive MBA in Hospital Administration (EMBAHA) for the session 2013 – 14, with i-compass Academy, Ahmedabad, via distance learning mode. The Academy promised to give me admission to the above mentioned course with Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning in Management (EIILM University), which is a UGC recognized University. I had sent all the requested documents along with payable at par HDFC Bank Cheque No. 000008 dated 23/10/2013 for Rs. 8000/-, Cheque No. 000009 dated 15/11/2013 for Rs. 8000/- and Cheque No. 000012 dated 16/12/2013 for Rs 7000/- as fees for the above mentioned course, in favor of i- compass academy. The cheques were encashed on 29/10/2013, 27/11/2013 and 21/12/2013 respectively. Total of Rs 23000/-. Till now I have received only the fee receipt from i-compass Academy. I have not received any document from the academy informing me whether I have been admitted to the course. Neither have I received the details of the subjects, course, books, E-books, Roll no., Enrollment number, University, Exam centers and Exam schedule. I have called up the academy more than 20 times telephonic and requested for the same.

I have sent more than six E-mails for the same. But there has been no sign of any action from the academy. Despite my repeated phone calls and Emails the Academy hasn’t bothered to reply. All my pleas and requests are falling on deaf ears. I have a strong suspicion that i-Compass Academy is a fraud and is in the business of duping the unsuspecting students. Such companies are a blot on the nation which commit fraud in the name of education. I have a record of all the E-mails that were exchanged with i-Compass Academy and recordings of the some telephonic conversations also. I request to take firm action against i-Compass Academy and get the refund of my hard earned money. Expecting an early and adequate response from your side. Thanking you in anticipation.
