I am Mrs.meenakshi the holder of policy I had taken policy no16876826.Guareenteed savings insurance plan on july 2012.I undertook to invest in the plan through my relative under the condition that the premium for the subsiquent year 2013 is paid from the joint account of myself and my mother.I was receipted for Rs.103,090/-.My mother was abroad for a year.But after i was reminded of the permium due by the company of premium due i found that ony the first year premuim of Rs.51,545/- has been paid and they have given a receipt in error due to a technical failure.I made several complaints through the grievance cell wanting my policy to be cancelled due to the erronous receipt for which they responded that my policy must have been cancelled during the free look period for a refund and that cancellation is impossible now.They have also changed the face of my complaint stating that i claimed to have paid thae said sum in the receipt od Rs.103,090/-.I paid rs.51,545/- and want a cancellation of the policy as the policy document is invalid due to an error on their part and a refund of rs.51,545/-.Please help. I would loose my RS.50,545/- which I have paid from my account.And I only want the amount I paid as premium which the company refuses to give.
