I got a call from an Idea Agent (Name : Rohit, Cell Number : +91- 8745000919) on 18th September(Thursday) and requesting for the new connection, I thereby told him to get me a good number. After many talks , on 19th September(Friday) , he gave me a number (i.e 9990999776) and I got a call from a lady (Cell Number : +91- 8510009945) for confirmation of the number as well . ‘I have all the recorded calls as fortunately I had call recording software installed on my cell phone.’ In the evening Mr. Sunil(+91- 8506045895) came to collect Rs 300 as well. On Saturday when I checked, that number was already activated and someone who was using that number told me that he is using that number since very long. I got no response when I contacted Mr. Rohit and all those who were involved in this (or ‘I will check Sir’ attitude). On 24th September,2013 (Tuesday), I contacted customer care as well (Name : Alka, Coversation ID : C1-6194837888) and complained regarding this and she promised a strict and an immediate action as well, but still there is no response. I complained many times through e-mail also(At ‘ccare.dl@idea.adityabirla.com’), but did’t got any solution. Though they didn’t contacted me, they always reply with ‘Your complaint has been resolved as you got call from our executive.’. Following are some complaint references : C1-6830948132?, C1-6790880504?, C1-6475942637?, C1-6471614189? I have all the proofs against this and it is breach of contract on the part of Idea Cellular. Idea is liable to not only give me a very similar number , but also compensate for the mental harassment faced by me. I have reached twice, Appellate team of Idea as well, but still no resolution
