The Idea Cellular number is being used by my Father. This was newly subscribed number and my father had called customer care to verify the details to start his number. Due to miscommunication while verifying the number Idea’s executive asked him whether to subscribe to some services but as usual there was network problem with Idea network. Due to this my Father couldn’t understand what that executive was talking and he said yes in the rush of activating the number. The charges that would be levied was not understood by my Father due to Idea’s regular network problem and its undue advantage was taken by that executive and he activated it. After the verification call he received the sms showing that you have subscribed to these services at 259 per year. So he immediately unsubscribed both the services by sending an SMS and those were successfully unsubscribed also. However, still in my bill charges of Rs. 498/-. Your executive is telling me that these are one time charges. But when i am not going to avail their facilities, i have already unsubscribed it without even using it once then on what basis i have to pay. Rs. 498/- is not a small amount. But that executive is telling me i will have to pay. Secondly, i sent them emails but just once they replied and later they stopped replying. The services and policies should be customer friendly instead of bluffing your customers

Firstly, i will have to pay Rs. 498/-. Secondly, we are dealing in auto components. Due to network problems we regularly have to bear loss of orders from the customers as our customers try to contact us but due to network issue they are not able to reach till us and effectively they give orders to our competitors. Our average monthly sale is of Rs.300,000/-. But since the time we have taken idea number and distributed the same to our customers from January, our sales figures have come down by 30-40% i.e. Rs. 120000. Our Profit Margin is of approx. 11% which means we lost profit of Rs. 11000 in a month due to Idea.
