Idea Over Charging 3G Mobile Data

I ported Into Idea Network in October 2014 for my number 98335XXX44. I was on a plan Called 299 plan in which my number was given certain free minutes of talk time, certain SMS free and 1 GB of 3G data was included in the 299 pack. My Bill cycle starts from 7th of every month till 6th of next month. My bill for first 3 months (Oct-Nov, Nov- Dec, Dec-Jan) was well within control but my 4th bill (Jan-Feb) was Rs. 5663/- which is 10 times my normal usage. On asking Customer Care of Idea I was told that the benifits of free data usage were only limited to first 3 bill cycles and from 4th Bill onwards the data was not included in 299 plan and was charged seperately. However, during my Jan- Feb billing cycle i repeteadly got SMS’s from Idea Cellullar that I had 1024 MB (1 GB) of free data usage which I had to consume till 6th Feb 2015 (i.e. last day of bill cycle). Despite several follow up with Idea my Billing Dispute has not been resolved and now my number has been deactivated for non-payment of bill which i am disputing.

My outgoing on the phone has been discontinued because of which I cannot make any outgoing calls. I am a working person in my family business. Because of this billing issue I have had to take time out of my working time and spend time trying to resolve this issue due to which business has suffered. In all this I have been unable to make important phone calls which has also resulted in subatantial business loss. I am attaching all the SMS’s received by me from Idea Cellullar intimating me that I have 1024 MB of free data available to me. Bill for the month of Jan-Feb i.e 7th Jan – 6th Feb 2015 amounting to Rs. 5663 be substantially reduced and compensation of Rs, 15000/- to be awarded to me for mental harassment and loss of business.
