I Filed the TDR against PNR No:2617188750, for the refund of unused ticket this ticket was from jaipur to ahemdabad. i didn’t get any sataus about the TDR, after calling them they had sent one mail that TDR is failed as “TDR was filed beyond the prescribed time limit”. I filled the TDR just on the time of train departure as train was late. i got this information through announcement on the railway station. For again to take the confirmation I checked the train status on http://enquiry.indianrail.gov.in/ntes/ and found the same status of the train the I decided not to travel by the train as it is chance to miss my connecting train from Ahmedabad to Surat. As per my knowledge and the information from IRCTC (clause no 6 of the part 2 section 3), TDR should be filled with in 72 hour from the departure of the train. I filled the TDR when the train was not arrived at station (Jaipur) as it was delayed by 2 hours. how can it was out of time limit. i could not able to understand it.

I want to know the TDR status & when i can get my money back from IRCTC.
