Indigo Airlines Online Ticket Booking – High Pricing

I was making an online booking on Indigo airlines on 8th August Night around 9.15pm for a round trip from Singapore to Chennai for the dates 8th Sept to 24th September for 2 tickets. I locked in a price of 8193 Rs for onward journey and Rs 6512 for return journey. I entered all the customer details, booked 2 seating numbers, and then finally did payment by entering credit card details. But after submitting the payment, Indigo website crashed. I pain stakingly entered and redid payment details for 3 times, but Indigo website still crashed. After further frustration, I closed my browser and started a fresh booking. But to my shock, the onward price increased to Rs 9535. Now, I had already did a booking for my and my daughter for 8th sept and 24th sept. Now I am forced to book at the increased price for my wife and other daughter just because Indigo website crashed that too at the payment stage for no fault of mine. When a customer sees a price on the website and accepts the price and goes all the way till payment stage, the airlines should respect this commitment of price and make it go through. Not to cancel the transaction in the middle of payment and forcing customer to pay a new price. This is really a frustrating thing for Indigo airlines and amounting to not respecting the deal between the provider and customer that has been agreed upon. I tried to call up the customer service and called 2 times and waited for half an hour each time to reach an agent and before I could address my complaint, the telephone connection got cut in a minute.

For the loss of Rs 2684, mental frustration caused due to frequent entering of details again and again on the website which crashed again and again, for my time loss and annoyance of not able to reach the customer service agent for so much of time, then reaching the agent for a minute only to be disconnected in a minute, breach of trust regarding the price of a product agreed upon for purchase and changing the price in the last minute, I would like a compensation of 10,000 Rs..
