I booked railway tickets through IRCTC for my travel from Bangalore to Mumbai in SL and 3AC class. Both the tickets were waitlisted. On journey day both tickets got confirmed. I traveled in 3A class and filed TDR on my PNR No. 4260103315 which is SL class ticket. I had reservation in the train in 3A Class with PNR No. 4713793364. Their reply says Dear Customer, With Reference to your PNR No:4260103315, we regret to inform you that refund is not admissible as informed by Railways through their letter no : MCR110314V69123 and the reason being : ‘As per chart, passenger has travelled’ So how come a person can travel in both the classes 3A and SL in the same train? In next mail I have even forwarded relevant documents. No reply after that.

I want Rs 50000/- compensation for this.
