I would like to submit the following for your kind perusal and favourable action please. I and my family consists of four members on the way from Trichur to home halted at Kalpakavadi Motels and Resorts, Thottappally for having meals at 130 PM on 13 April 2015. There was no light/fan (lack of electricity) on that day, hence we sat in the corridor. We ordered four vegetarian meals and one Karimeen Fry. The waiter took the order and after 15 minutes he served the food to us. In the meanwhile the same waiter cleaning the table with a cloth and without washing his hand he served food to the other customers. It created an irritation; however we waited for our meals due to placing of order.

After had the meals he served the bill bearing No 20113 dated 13.04.2015 for Rs 700/- (Rupees seven hundred only) (Copy enclosed for your ready reference) as under :-

Veg Meals – 04 Nos Rs 400.00
K/Fry – 01 No Rs 300.00

On seeing the bill we astonished, because market rate of one kilogram Karimeen is only Rs 325/- ,whereas, he charged for one small karimeen fry is Rs 300/-. Is it affordable. In view of the above, I am earnestly requested that suitable direction may please be passed to the hotel authorities to place the rate board of item being served by them as well as charge whatever the actual cost plus resorts profit only from the customer and also nominate somebody to clean the table instead of the waiter keeping in view of hygiene and sanitation.
