Kent – Purifier defective problem not resolved

It is observed (since installed) that the functioning of the installed purifier is not like a normal product. It always stops to work .I did my level best efforts to repair/rectify the purifier thrugh calls to customer care-0120466xxx & thrugh emails at service@kent.co.in . On my requests, technicians were deputed to rectify the defect yet the purifier stop to work after its rectification (30 days). Most of the parts has been replaced (free replacement of parts & replacement of the parts on cash payment basis i.e. vide receipt no-500182 date 20/10/2014,Rs.800/- in cash was paid to you for replacement of both the filters), yet its deficiency has not been removed. Though I called many times, yet all service/repairing records have not been maintained. In spite of my all efforts, the deficiency of the purifier is still exiting in the machine. Present status of the purifier is that it not in working condition (for more than 45 days). It is lying dead at my flat. The purifier is so defective that it cannot be repaired / rectified. That’s why; I will not further approach for its repairing. Replacement is the only option for the installed defective purifier. Therefore I sent a letter thru Speed post (date: 21/10/2014) for replacement of the defective purifier. No reply from your side. Further, I sent a reminder thru speed post on date 10/11/2014. No reply from your side. Hence, I am approaching Regd. Office of KENT for its replacement and hope to hear from your side within 10 days after receipt of this letter. Otherwise I will buy a new water purifier for my use and will be enforced to file a consumer complain before Hon’ble District CONSUMER DISPUTES REDRESSAL FORUM and will pray that the Hon’ble Forum may be pleased to direct you to pay costs of complaint.
