I got my Kent RO recently re-serviced from kent service center dated 18.12.2014 complaint No. 14D349868 Inspection was done by service rep wherein he replaced 2 filters on 18.12.2014 costing INR 1100 including 300 Rs as service charge. During replacement of filters, we were suggested by him to replace pump too citing small leakage issue. As we were not aware of the matter we asked him the cost of the pump which was confirmed to us as INR 950. As per service rep; the existing pump could further work for next 2-3 months but he suggested us to get the same replaced now only. Based upon his confirmation & cost we got the pump replaced dated 19.12.2014 amounting INR 950 for which we paid him the amount and received bill. 2 days after the same rep came back to us demanding another 1400 Rs citing additional cost. I am not clear on the methodology of working of kent service team who initially asked us to pay 950 Rs thereby replacing the part & then asking us for additional amount later on. As a consumer we took a decision for changing the pump which could have served our purpose for at least 3 months understanding & judging the cost of replacement which was confirmed as INR 950. However if we were told/ initially informed of cost as 2400 rs; we would have taken a decision to get this pump replace later after the existing pump stops working. 6 days later we were made to pay an additional amount of INR 1210 without our mistake which left us feel cheated by kent service advisor. Refer Bill Nos. 545809, 545811, 545825 dated 18.12.2014, 19.12.2014, 25.12.2014 respectively. Kindly suggest as a consumer what is my fault; sine i was pressurized of additional funds later on & taking the same through unfair means (regular visiting my home, pressurizing my family, phone call to me, then doing agreements with suggestions on AMC etc.). Looking forward to hear from you since this is bothering me & my family on unfair practices by KENT RO team. I look forward for return of the additional sum paid by me with stern action on kent service team.
