LG – Offer Product Faulty

I purchased an LG LED 32LB5820 from Shri Mangla Electronics, Ramphal Chowk, Dwarka on 6th October 2014. The dealer told me that I would get a magic remote as part of the offer that would be in the box of the LED itself, but it din’t come in the box. When I called him up, he told me that the magic remote would be available the next day, so I went the next day and took the same. I called up the customer care number for its installation vide RNA no. 141010000333 and got my LED installed on 10th October and the representative who came to install the LED told me that the magic remote is not working and that I need to call up the dealer to get its replacement. Then and there I called up the dealer named Rohit and conferences the call with the service representative. The dealer told that they wont replace the remote as the same is not covered with them. As part of the second complaint filed with LG, I got to know that the dealer has provided me with missing parts of the remote due to which the said remote won’t work. I contacted the dealer Rohit on October 21 and he assured me that I will get the missing part the next day delivered at my home. Time and again I’m doing rounds of the customer care department, but nothing is been done on there part.

I want to get my Magic Remote replaced and should work accordingly. Also I wish to claim damages worth INR 10,000 for all of my time foregone on such a petty issue which would have been resolved in no time on the LG dealer as well as the company for the malpractices which they follow of offering something at the time of making a purchase to lure the customer and delivering something else.
