The Royal Sundaram company has reduced my claim stating that the room rent is restricted to 10 days, which is no where written in insurance document, and also on the same ground the benefit of convalescence that is a some of Rs.15000/- which is given if the period of hospitalization exceeds 15 days. Also whenever i call there call center every time they give deferent answers to my query. 1st they toled it is given only for critical illness only, and now they have sent me this letter that the patient as per medical opinion the stay in hospital is restricted to 10 days only and hence the room rent for the remaining days has been deducted. Regarding convalescence benefit since we have not considered the 15 days hospitalization period for settlement hence this benefit cannot be availed. This is not a fare answer and way of deduction, since you have not accepted one clause whice they have never mansion on there any document, benefit of other have been related to it and the other also is rejected.
