purchased Micromax Canvas2 Model A110 Handset on 11.05.2013 from srinagar with M_IMEI – 911306901430933 and S_IMEI 911306901680933 worth Rs 10000/-. The handset developed some technical fault due to which it could not detect the Network in February 2014. On 24th Feb 2014,I took the handset to Micromax Service Centre, Srinagar namely… M/s SAFVIZ XPERTS, C7 Municipality Building, IInd Floor, near Hotel City Centre, Pratap Park, Lal Chowk, Srinagar J&K 190001, Contact No:- 0194-2484330. The Service Centre uploaded the software once again and claimed that the problem has been fixed. But the handset was still not detecting the network as before and the claim of service centre to have fixed the problem was false. On 26th Feb 2014 i once again visited the service centre and explained that the fault was still there and requested them to set the things right so that i am not supposed to visit the centre repeatedly. The Service Centre asked me to keep the handset with them so that the problem is fixed and handed over the Material Receipt Note to me (copy attached) On 3rd March i got a call from the service centre that the handset has been repaired and i asked me to collect the same. Accordingly i did so but to my great disappointment the handset was still in the same condition and the problem had not been fixed at all. Once again on 5th March 2014 i went to the service centre and banged the person concerned there for having deceived me repeatedly. The service centre engineer explained that they have been unable to fix the problem and the handset needs to be sent to Delhi for repair. The created a Job Sheet bearing No:- *N080139-0214-8247550* dated:- 05.03.2014 (copy attached) and took the custody of my handset. Since then i have been provided no feedback regarding the handset by the service centre. On 13th March 2014 i again visited the service centre to enquire about my handset and to the heights of my surprise i found the personnel there were having no information about my handset. They denied that the handset was in their custody at all. With great inconvenience to me they could locate the handset which was lying there in the same old condition. Neither it had been repaired nor it had been sent to Delhi. I have corresponded many a times with Micromax Customer Care through emails but of no output. Yesterday i talked to Customer Care Executive on phone and to add to my problems i was informed that the above Job Sheet has been closed by the Service Centre. Fact being that the handset is still lying with them un repaired. I have spent so much of money to procure this handset but have had a very bad experience of after sale service. My humble request is to kindly take up the matter urgently and relieve me of this inconvenience.
