ubject: Mobile Handset micromax A250 IMEI-911224750805682 collected from my place on 27thJune 2014 for repair is still not returned/repaired, registered under policy number: plan id – 031979 I am awaiting my mobile handset whose details are mentioned above in the subject line, to be repaired and sent back to me for past over 3 weeks. To my shock I received a call on 5th July 2014 from an unknown number suggesting me that my mobile can’t be repaired & suggested to take a total loss claim of Rs 6475/- and asked me to handover the original bill, original policy, mobile box and all accessories to the executive who will visit my place. I categorically told the caller (Mr.Rohit ,executive from insurance company) that I should receive such a request formally in writing from the insurance company, on the basis of an anonymous phone call I cannot take further action, leave aside handing over the original bill, original policy document all accessories and original box like this which can be misused for selling my mobile handset in the open market to anyone, 3 weeks have passed but have not received any communication from the insurance company since then. I asked him how can my mobile be beyond repair as when I gave my mobile for repairing it was in working condition and I was able to receive calls and operate the mobile, the only significant problem I was facing was that one particular line on the touch screen was not working and now you are declaring the mobile beyond repair and claiming its mother board is damaged? There was no answer on it and after lot of argument he gave me a number of his senior one Mr. Shashank -9899911722, I tried that number but no one is picking the call on this number, the ringtone on this number is also misleading? I clearly see here the insurance company who charged me 10% of the mobile cost as insurance premium running away from the responsibility of repairing the mobile now. The insurance agent M/s Mobile Zone, G-17, Malik Plaza, Dwarka, Sector-4, Delhi-110073 who sold me the policy confirmed me while selling the policy that all damages are covered in this policy and in all scenario your mobile set would be repaired and given back to you in case of any damages which now you guys are refusing, what is this?
My mobile handset should be repaired to satisfaction and returned to me at the earliest with all my contacts and i should not be charged for the same which was the condition and reason i paid 10% of my mobile cost as insurance premium.
