Naaptol.com EMI Shopping – Wrong Charges by ICICI Credit Card

Sir, This is about the of EMI charges that have been deducted from my ICICI Bank credit card account after the transaction in question had been cancelled by the seller – Naaptol.com – and the amount was refunded, back into my credit card account by www.Naaptol.com. Therefore, it is wrong to deduct the EMI amount when the principal amount, itself, had been already returned back to the bank. In this case Rs. 9,098. As per my several, previous conversations held with their customer support personnel, more than one EMI’s have been deducted because I have not reported back the cancellation and refund of the transaction.

This system is hard to understand since the entire deal was made and cancelled through ICICI Bank’s own banking system and I’m still being asked to pay for a zero transaction – Rs. 9098 Dr. – Rs. 9098 Cr. =Rs. 0. I request you to kindly look into the matter. The relevant details about the issue as per statements received in my email, are given below. 1.Credit Card No – 4375 5110 1130 8009. 2.Card Holder – Saurabh. Pundhir. 3.Amount deducted and Transaction No. – DR. Rs. 9098 and 74766514235433057943044. 4.Amount refunded and transaction No. – CR. Rs.9098 and 7476651425543655766380. 5.Amount Deducted as 1st EMI – Rs. 3246+int+chrgs. Date: 25/09/2014. 6.Amount Deducted as 2nd EMI – Rs. 3246+int+chrgs. Date: 24/10/2014. Here i would like to clarify that during this time my credit card has been replaced and all records are as per the previous card number. I’m also providing the PW – saur2202 – for opening the statements. Since the entire experience for me, has caused a complete damage to the faith and trust on all the services provided by ICICI bank, who are still causing a lot of strain and unrest to me, by calling for payment of the remaining amount.

I request for earliest settlement of my case and relevant refund and compensation from ICICI bank. I request for a refund of amount Rs.7000- which was wrongfully billed and deducted from me by the bank, as well as applicable compensation for undue stress and damage to my personal peace.
