I got operated on 3rd-Dec, 2009. It was an Arthroscopy. I have been told by hospital (Excel Hospital, Kanpur) as well as Mediassist customer care also that there is a package for this kind of surgery and I will only be eligible for eighteen thousands but hospital management told me that 26 thousands is required for it so I need to pay rest of 8 thousand rupees cash. I had no choice so had to pay eight thousand rupees but when I asked bills for those eight thousand rupees, they denied giving bills. I could only claim that 8K amount from my TPA (Mediassist) but I had to pay that amount without bills forcefully. If I don’t give money to hospital management, it could be a physical harassment with me and my father. Unfortunately I don’t have any paper proof of it.
I sent a number of emails to my TPA (Medassist) about it but I didn’t get proper response from them. I got call from them few times but no written commitment. They told me that they are trying to get my money back but all of sudden TPA has stopped replying my email and no calls. Can you please help me here? I have a lot of emails proof which I sent to Mediassist.
Please consider this email as a complain and take necessary action against my TPA (Mediassist) & Excel hospital, Kanpur (if it is possible).
