Respected Sir, I have applied the new pan card for my friend Mr.Chinnasamy Raja vide acknowledge no.881010120294393. In Tamil nadu, all person’s name are as First name and the initial of Father Name. Surname never recorded in Tamil Nadu. But in the application of PAN, it is not possible to apply without surname. Surname called as Family Name. In tamil nadu, some group of people called as Nadar, some people called as Thever. Based on the caste, the surname changed to everyperson in Tamil nadu. I have given the supporting document showing the First Name and the Initial of Father Name for New Pan application. But the NSDL people asking the exact the name as First Name Father Name and Surname in all proof. Mr.Chinnasamy raja born on 17-03-1988. Kindly refer the all tamilnadu people’s documents and records. It will show the First name and initial of father name only. In the caste certificate, the family name will be mentioned.. So i can give the Caste Certificate for Surname. As per our state government, we have no need to put surname and full of father name.. So the certificates and documents of all tamil nadu people, showing the first name and initial of father name. If you find any mistake in first name of the applicant, kindly inform.
