Online Shopping – Deficiency services non-delivery

I had ordered online a wall shelf on 29/11/2014 for Rs. 1046 and it was to be delivered within 8-10 working days according to the company’s policies. However, the product is not yet delivered to me till yet (04-01-2015) and I was never given any information for the delay. The amount was deducted from my account towards the payment immediately, but when I inquired from the customer care; I was told that they have some quality deficient issues and that’s why the product was delayed.

I was in dire need of a wall shelf and have been waiting for it since more than 35 days now. The amount was deducted immediately and I lost the interest on the same. The company has been deficient in providing services and they cannot just take the escape route on being an e-commerce giant. I want to take a legal action on it.
