Prestige Induction Cooker – No Repairs / Customer Care

Dear Sir/Madam, I have purchased a prestige induction from your showroom. Model no. 5.0. After just year one year, a problem arise number : E3. i have booked a complain Ref. number : KOLK – 1139361. After that a call came to me from kolkata service centre. I told him this is the problem. He said, i have understood, what is the problem. You have to change the mother board and it will cost Eleven hundred some thing. Then i asked him, how can be you sure that the mother board has gone without seeing it. He said, no no we know everything. what happened to your induction. I told him first see what is the problem? then you can say. Then he is saying , if i go there you have pay Rs. 150. Again he is saying, we cannot repair in customer house, we can only replace the mother to ON the product. Otherwise you have to bring in our servicing centre. I said OK. Then I when to the shop, from where I have purchased the induction. There was a man from prestige, who was sitting there. I told him the whole story, he said, you bring it here, the engineering will come and see. You don’t have to go the servicing centre. We will help you. I said ok fine. After seeing E3 in manual he said, not a big problem. After that the same story happened. The shopkeeper said we are very sorry, that we can not help you.

Then I took the induction to the servicing centre. After five days(today) a phone came to me, from the servicing centre, Again the person saying same dialog. Then he is saying me, after changing mother board, you will get one month warranty. It is better you exchange it with buying new one. NOW I HAVE SOME QUESTION TO YOU ? 1 ) What is the meaning of E3? 2) What you written in the manual about E3 – is this correct or Wrong? 3) When my induction is working (heating water checked – in your shop only from where I have purchased) then after few seconds the number is coming.. 4) I am asking you, if the mother board does not worked properly – shall the water heat? BECAUSE I HAVE A LITTLE MEDIA FARM : Where you can get (i) computer (ii) scanner (iii) printer etc. etc. – Each and everything worked with mother board. 5) OR, The prestige organization is pressuring to the customer. Don’t repair it buy new one. 6) OR, This is the attitude to prestige servicing centre to handle the customer. 7) After getting this type of behaviors from prestige organization. What the customer will do? 8) I am taking my induction back to me today only. 9) I don’t know the actual cause. I NEED YOUR HELP IN WRITING. HOW CAN YOU HELP ME?
