Rakhi Ordered Online – Not Delivered

I ordered a Rakhi(Order No.- AL20160816- 1042527) on 16th Aug online which said “express delivery”. And it assured the product will be delivered by 18th August. But I didn’t receive the product and to check on that, I tried to contact the customer-care, which was on a surprise note, closed on Rakhi. I doubt, how they were providing the service on that day then. Then I reached the customer-care on 19th Aug, the lady apologized and made sure that the product would be delivered on the same day with a gift. I received a dispatched message in next few hours but didn’t receive my courier.

Again I reached the helpdesk on 23rd Aug,10:00AM, and this time I was told that my product was delivered on 18th only. When I asked her to check and initiate my refund, she said she can deliver the product on the same day now, and that was illogical since it was a Rakhi.Then she agreed to cancel my order and as per her,a cancellation mail would have been sent to my mentioned email in next 24 hours, but it has not, till now. Also, I was told that they are not sure whether it will be refunded. When I track my order now on Archies website, it says the current status as DISPATCHED. The product I ordered cost me more than Rs.800 but the inconvenience and the carelessness by the company is unacceptable.

Because of the company carelessness , my brother missed his Rakhi and on top of it, the carelessness and behavior has made this worse. I would ask them to refund my money along with the money which I spent on reaching there customer care as they never pick your call in first 5 mins. And you spend time and money waiting for them.
