First please note: my complaint is not against rechargeitnow. There wasn’t any proper option under the category Brand* so I chose the first option. My complaint is against rosesandgifts.com My order number with the gift sending based website is RAG/26052014/57163 the service was to deliver a birthday cake in between 26th may 2014 10:30 pm-27th may 2014 12:30 am. the service is under the website’s midnight delivery section. i made a payment of Rs. 674 through debit card of united bank of India regarding the matter. the payment was made on 26th may 2014 morning. the cost of the product which was a cake was Rs.499 and charges for same day midnight delivery was Rs 175. they did not deliver the product. on 27th may 2014 morning the website still claims the service to be under processing. on 27 th morning at 8:26 am i called them up, ms.lavani said she will will me back within an hour. she did not call back. around 9:42 am i again called up their office, they said they’ll call back in 15 mins. They called at 9:54 am saying the delivery was made where it actually wasn’t, they again said they’ll call back in 15 mins. they did not. I called around 10:15 am when she told me they had delivered it to a wrong address and also claimed that the door of the actual flat was locked which was not the case. After that she simply stopped receiving my calls.
i want a full refund of the Rs.674 that i had paid and a compensation of Rs.2500 for the inconvenience caused to me.
