Sai Service – maruti CNG changeover was faulty

Dear Sir / Madam, I am a customer of Maruti since 1991. On 25 March 2013, Maruti vehicle MH03BE0703 was given to Sai Service Andheri(E), Mumbai (an authorized service centre of Maruti), for CNG conversation. During the acceptance test run itself, I found that the petrol CNG changeover was faulty. In addition power loss and flickering of engine light was observed and reported. But as advised by Mr. Manohar, I had agreed to use the vehicle under observation. On 6 May 2013, I dropped a mail to Sai Service, explaining of 4 major issues. During this period, I have made 4 visits to Sai Service and on one occasion, the vehicle was admitted for 4 days without any improvement. Subsequent to that, my communications, on 30 October 2013, 7 November 2013, 21 November 2013 and 27 November 2013 all went into deaf years. Being seriously upset with the totally unprofessional and unethical attitude of Sai Service, on 7 November 2013 and 21 November 2013, I had requested them to remove the CNG kit and refund the amount paid to them. On 27 November 2013 I requested them to remove the defective CNG kit, provide refund and compensation. As a helpless customer, I continued moving on petrol and some time on CNG. Made more than 10 visits to Sai Service, 4 to 5 visits to the vendors workshop and showing the vehicle to the vendor-technicians outside Seepz Andheri on a dozen times as advised by Sai Service. On 25 January 2014, my vehicle was given for normal servicing. On 27 January 2014 when the vehicle was collected, the vehicle was in a pathetic state, worse than that of 25 January 2014. Subsequent technical support also did not improve the situation. My mails of 28 January 2014, 9 February 2014, 12 February 2014, 15 February 2014, 26 February 2014 and 28 February 2014 refers to the same issue. These mails also speak highly of the pain and agony I went through since 25 March 2013. Kindly note, all mail communications are uploaded in the system for ready reference.

1. Immediate removal of the CNG kit and refund of the full payment made to Sai Service for fitment. 2. The vehicle should be made fully serviceable in its petrol version and all warranties which are revoked because of fitment of CNG to be reinstated. 3. I should be permitted for an inspection of the vehicle, by any external agency and if any gap is observed, Sai Service be made responsible for the same. 4. A compensation of two lakh rupees be paid to me towards all the harassment I have undergone because of the unprofessional and indifferent attitude of Sai Service Andheri(E), Mumbai for almost one year.
