Samsung Air Conditioner – No Customer Care

We had to shift from one house to another within the same pin code. A request was filed by us to Samsung Service center to dismantle the AC and Install it to our new house on 22nd July 2016. A technician came, did the dismantling and installed it to the desired place. When AC was switched on to check its functionality, it was not giving the proper cooling. The same was told to technician. He wasted two hours of us in checking the machine and after all unsuccessful attempts he concluded that Coolant of the AC is not sufficient. He asked us not to buy coolant(Gas) from samsung company as it would us INR 2700 and he would provide the same in INR 1500. As a consmuer with shortage of money due to new house purchase we agreed as per him.

He brought the coolant(Gas), filled it and as he was not able to regulate the pressure, the compressor tripped off. Finally he said the compressor need to be changed. He charged us INR 1700 for intalling the AC, did not provide the bill and left leaving us no where. When we tried contacting them, they said that compressor will be changed as it is under 5 years warranty but you have to pay 1600 more for coolant. They did not talk properly. When we asked for the bill, they said that you have to pay tax then we will provide the bill. We tried contacting the head office of samsung but all in vain. Our AC is still unserviceable. Our concern is why we pay INR 1600 of the coolant when they ruined our AC to earn the self profit. They did not provide us the bill to get whole money in their pocket. We had to make hundreds of call, got disturbed and the service center talked rudely.

I request to change the AC with the complete set of new AC with same specifications. They ruined our machine internally after using screw drivers and keep filling gas with measurement.
