Samsung Air Conditioner Problems Not Resolved – Part 1

This is really disappointing service we are getting from Samsung. The issue is existing for over a week and the service team is contacting us TODAY with approx quotation of repair.

We bought this AC on 17th Jan 2012. In summer of 2013, the issue with compressor was detected and it was replaced in addition to some other parts for which we paid INR~ 5000. All services were taken from your service center.

Now in summer of 2014, the SAME issue of GAS leakage has AGAIN been detected – Since the compressor is in warranty it would be replaced free, however the technician today told condenser coil, service valve, gas filling, transportation etc would cost us INR 7799.

Why should I pay???? This was the faulty machine Samsung sold to me. I want a replacement of machine and not willing to pay a penny. Let me know the process/escalation point for having the machine replaced.

This is Sunil Kumar Bansal from customer experience team. With reference to our telephonic conversation with you we would like to inform you that as per our service centre confirmation, Condenser Coil, Capacitor, Valve and Capillary need to be replaced with gas charging at workshop.

As per our records we have found that the unit is out of warranty and repair will carried out on chargeable basis as per industry norms & an estimate of Rs.7799 (approx.) has been provided to you in order to repair the unit.
