SnapDeal – Delayed refund e-wallet false refund details

Sir I was ordering for a tablet on snapdeal.com for which I used my SD Cash(e-wallet) of Rs.599 for partial payment and used net banking for paying up the balance. But, the payment got failed cause of which I couldn’t order the Tablet. When I checked up, the SD Cash was showing as zero. I requested Snapdeal for the refund of Rs.599 for which they promised to credit the money to my SD Cash Wallet within 1 business day (i.e. 3rd June, 2015). I asked them how much time will they take to do refund even to my SD Wallet which is maintained by them only( paytm, another online market place provides the e-wallet refund within 10 min to the max for such cases). In response, they said it is all automatic and hence will surely be refunded within one business day. I am a student who wanted to order a tablet from their site and wanted to use my SD Cash wallet for some partial payment and even after 5-6 calls begging for refunding the money fearing the tablet may get price fluctuations and could experience price rise till the time I receive the SD Cash and order it finally. They keep saying that they will solve my request on priority basis but did nothing and got no resolution of the complaint within their promise of 1 business day. Today’s morning (i.e. 4th June,2015) When I asked them to refund my money then they still kept singing the same chant saying that the complaint will be resolved asap. When I asked them about the compensation for not fulfilling the promise, they said they don’t have any policy to compensate customers and they said this even when they have compensated me in past too. When they provided the refund of Rs. 599 for which I had requested them, it breakup was as Rs. 599 for compensation and Rs. 0 zero as refund for the debit because of payment failure. These people have even forfeited my Sd Cash of Rs. 50 in past saying as it had reached the expiry date so they forfeited it. Don’t they have any responsibility to contact customer once before they do so? When I asked them that will you people never contact a customer once before forfeiting his money citing the reason of expiry date. While replying, the Customer Care Executive didn’t give any clear cut answer. He also warned me that the refund of Rs. 599 could be taken back too. They provided the above refund of RS. 599( which they shown up as Rs. 599 as compensation and Rs. 0 as refund)only after my constant addressing to their CEO Mr. Kunal Bahl on Twitter( A social networking site) via various tweets otherwise they were keep lying me that the issue will be resolved asap. I request you to look into this matter and punish them appropriately for the mental agony they caused to me.

I want the damages for of Rs. 5000 for all the tensions I had to face cause of their corrupt practices. – Implementation of TOLL FREE Customer Care number by Snapdeal so that further no customer will have to lose Rs.50-60 rupees only to get his genuine complaint resolved. – Informing customers at least 7 days before forfeiting their Sd Cash (E-Wallet Cash) so that the customers can use up their hard earned money. -Instant refund of money to customer’s Sd Cash in case of failed payments and cancelled orders so that no other customer will have the face the mental agony in future which I have faced.
