Sony Experia Dual SIM – Consumer Review

Dear Sir I bring to your kind notice that I had purchased a Sony Experia E3 Mobile on 21-10-2014 at Sony World Showroom located in Anna Nagar, Chennai. The invoice details are 5150 dt 21-10-2014. Yesterday suddenly the phone got hanged and I tried to Switch off and on but I could not and I called the customer care executive. He guided me to restart the mobile. From the time the mobile got restarted , to my surprise on any received or outgoing calls , My opposite party could not hear my voice where else I could hear their voice. Then again I called the customer care executive and he guided me to do the micro phone test thru some codes , it failed. He told me that it might be a software bug and he asked to download PC companion and asked to repair the phone. I did the same and the software was updated and even after the update the problem persisted. Still I my opposite party receiving or calling me could not hear my voice. Today I took the mobile to the Sony Service Station located in Pimpri Chinchwad Link Road, Pune (Chaitanya Electronics). They had taken note of the problem and they told me that they will update the software and rectify the issue of microphone. My query is the same activity I had done that yesterday and I could not resolve the issue and the same the service executive is going to do. I don’t know how sure the issue will be resolved. The Service job sheet number is W114111700168 dt 17-11-2014 and handset is currently at Chaitanya Electronics (Sony Authorised Service Center), Shop No 18/19/20 Gawade Kunal Garden, Pimpri Chinchwad Link Road, Chinchwad , Pune – 411033 I am surprised that a World class brand smart phone with in a month of purchase is facing issues of mirco phone. I am sure that there is something wrong with mobile and I had been given a rejected/defective piece. I kindly request you to revisit this issue and replacement handset at the earliest. I am moving out of Pune on 28-11-2014 permanently. I would like to get my handset repaired or would like to get a new handset of the same specification.
