TATA AIG Insurance – Mis-Selling by Sales Executive

Sir/Madam With due respect I would like to draw your kind attention towards fraud done by sales executive/agent of your company. My name is Inder Singh Pahal a Sr. Citizen and I purchased an insurance policy with 0% dep. facility on 25.10.2013 for my Hyundai I 20 Magna car from your company through sales executive/agent namely Sh. Sanjay Shah. The policy no. is 0100843963 which I purchased by making payment of Rs. 13061/- through cheque dated 25.10.2013. It is pertinent to mention here that the insurance policy document was received to me after 6 months from the date of receipt of payment by the Company even as the payment of the insurance policy was made on 25.10.2013. Now the matter is that on 20.06.2014 some problems were found in my insured car therefore on 21.06.2014 I sent my car to a work shop of Hyundai and it was found that fuel pump is not working due any incident. I told that I have insurance policy with 0 dep. facility but the officials told me that your policy don’t have 0 dep. facility. I made a complaint at your company`s customer care in this regard and they told me that it is a mistake done by the sales executive/agent the claim No. 620799108. It is arguable that why a customer faces the problems for mistakes done by sales executive/agent of your company. The customers purchased any policy on the basis of reputation and aftersales services of the Company but I didn’t found any quality in your company so for and my grievance pending for last 2 months proves my statement clearly. I want to mention here some points which are as follows: 1) when I can purchase a normal policy in Rs. 7-8 thousands only why I will pay Rs. 13000/- for a normal policy. 2) with regard to the above mentioned claim a letter from your company with repeated content is being received regularly by me. It seems that the Company knows the expiry date of the policy so they are just passing the time. The attitude of your company is very embarrassing and forcing me to commit that in future neither I nor any person known to me will purchase any policy of your company. I a Sr. Citizen is regularly being harassed by your company for not giving the claim and sending a repeated letter which does not solve my problem. For the last time my requests are as follows: please convert my policy into 0 dep. policy with effect from the date I have purchased it and consider my claim accordingly. Or Please refund the paid amount of the policy alongwith interest. If my complaint is not resolved within next 7 days I shall be bound to file a case in the court of jurisdiction.
