Tata Indicom broadband – Incorrect Bandwidth Calculation

My Photon number – 9216002421 My Bandwidth allocation at maximum speed – 15 GB (speed reduced to 153 Kbps thereafter) Billing Cycle – Starts 5th of every month; Ends 4th of every Month. For the month of March, as per the internet usage dashboard provided to the consumer on tata docomo website, I have consumed around 10GB of data on 4th March and around 4 GB of data on 5th March. However since my Internet session started on 4th March and ended on 5th March, my entire data consumption of 4th and 5th March put together has been internally calculated and allocated to 5th March. This flawed logic of calculation resulted in my Account to falsely report 15GB of data consumption in the next billing cycle thus capping my Internet speed. Due to this I have effectively lost 10GB of bandwidth at maximum speed for which I had already paid in advance. Nowhere to the customer it is mentioned that the calculation will be done in this manner. The customer is misled by being presented with a dashboard, which correctly reports the bandwidth consumed each day. However, while generating the bill, capping speed – Session based calculation is used resulting in duping the unaware customer. The company representatives have agreed that it is a flaw and that the customer is not being made aware of the internal calculations; however they are not willing to provide any compensation of the inconvenience and instead instructing me to be careful from next time!! The solution being provided is that I must disconnect before 12:00 A.M on the billing cycle change date in order to prevent this from happening in future. I have attached all screenshots of the dashboard and mails that I have sent to the company as evidence.

I would want a refund for 10GB on pro-rata basis or the company should provide 10 GB addon package for my account free of cost. If, I end up purchasing an add on package within this month for the 5th March to 4th April billing cycle just because I am suffering due to low speed. I want a full refund of that amount
