Tikona – Bill Charged after disconnection of services & its reimbursement

I have discontinued with Tikona services in Bangalore by placing two requests through requisition section in my account on 12 Nov 2011, calling up customer care on 13 Nov 2011 & emailing on 14 Nov 2011. I got a bill in OCT 2011 stating I have to make a payment for renewal….I opted for Tikona on May 14,2011 and plan ends on Nov 14, 2011. But still I got a bill in Oct 2011 which starts from Oct 2011, when still my plan didn’t expire. Due to your poor service, I discontinued Tikona’s services on the above said dates. After that I got many calls from your customer service on confirmation of termination of services. On Dec 2, 2011 I got a call from your executive confirming the termination of services and person would come to retrieve the modem & accessories.

Despite placing many requests finally person came in March 2012 to get the materials. Meanwhile I got numerous calls stating to make the payment inspite terminating your service. In Jan 2012 a representative visited my house and I showed all the proof of bills sent by Tikona, all communication, error from your side on bills etc.. thereby your representative accepted error from your side and promised to clear the problem. After repeated requests modem & accessories were retrieved in March 2012. But still , I had received calls asking for payment settlement which doesn’t exist. Also I received a bill for the period 15-Apr-2012 to 14-Jul-2012 where my connection was terminated in Nov 2011 & all accessories were taken back by Tikona in March 2012. Total Rs. 3792 was over charged until July 2012 for which I never used. I have contacted their appellate authority Mr. Sunil Nair on 22 July 2012, but no response even their customer care too. After a year in July 2013, I received a call from a lawyer ( Shalini Sachdeva) in Delhi and they politely threatened me that a case would be filed against me if I don’t make the payments. I haven’t used Tikona connection from 12 Nov 2011. But the bills I had to make payment was for post Nov 2011 to August 2012 for which I didn’t use. Strange thing is they have taken modem & accessories in March 2012, but the bill was upto Aug 2012 I need to pay for. Later I had to make the payment (Rs. 3791) and told her that a case would be filed against Tikona because I have emails sent to you for termination of connection and you never reverted me. I have call records for termination sent. But Tikona customer care executive assured me that it was a mistake at your end way back in July 2012 and the same shall be done at system. This is a case of actually cheating and harassing customer.

Tikona claims that they do not have any records from Nov 2011 to April 2012 for the above said incidents. And due to non payment they disconnected my service in Apr 2012. I had confirmation in Dec 2, 2011 for termination from their executive. From Nov 2011 to July 2013, Tikona harassed me and I was subjected to harassment and made me to pay Rs.3791. I never used the connection post Nov 12, 2011. Emails & telephonic calls were made to me. I have explained to many customer care & even the person from Tikona who visited my house. But they threatened me to pay Rs. 3791. Their customer care & Appellate authority despite sending requests till today done nothing to solve the issue. Till date I had received only 1 call from appellate authority. Extreme poor management & service.
