Tikona Broadband Internet Speed Too Slow

I had been complaining about slow speed/no internet of Tikona since 18th January, 2015. I was not getting the requisite speed as per my opted plan. On various occasions, the speed was so slow that I could do nothing. The service provider kept on extending deadlines for restoration of normal service. Even after about two months, the same status prevailed. Finally, I e-mailed them on 8th March for disconnection. During this period, I had to do most of my internet related work either through my mobile or from outside. All this experience was nothing short of mental harassment. I had sent them a number of emails from 8th January to 22nd March, besides calling them on customer care a number of times. Transcripts of conversations, which might be available with the service provider, would substantiate the facts brought out in the emails.

I have paid two bills during the period – Rs.896/- (Jan. – Feb.) and Rs.512/- (Feb. – March). The services provided during this period was erratic. Since the service provider was not able to provide normal service be refunded to me. Besides this, penalty, as during the period, the amount paid i.e. Rs.1408/- may deemed appropriate, should also be imposed for deficiency in service and giving false promises.
