We have purchased two split ac in may 2011 from kirti nagar more store. Videocon have confirmed the units were manufactured in march 2011. The compressor in one of the units is now faulty. The compressor is warrantied for a period of 5 years under a manufacturers warranty but Videocon are not dealing with the fault due to not being able to produce the purchase receipt. The units were purchased by my late father and we are unable to locate the bill. The Ac are also installed by videocon themselves so there should be record available to them showing these were purchased by my late father from new.

I would like the compressor to be replaced under the terms of the manufacturer warranty as there is no doubt the unit has failed within the warranty period.
